Return Period

When the customer exercises the right of withdrawal and returns the product, the return period starts. This is the period during which the customer can actually return the product to the online store or fulfillment center.

What is the legal return period?

After canceling the purchase within the cooling-off period, the return period only begins and the consumer legally, within the EU, has at least 14 days to return the product.

The webshop is required to refund the full purchasing price, including the original shipping costs, within a maximum of 14 days of receiving the return.

What is the difference between return period and cooling off period?

The cooling off period is the period during which the customer has the right to cancel the purchase and return the product without giving reasons.

This period is set by EU law at 14 days from receipt of the product for purchases made from a distance and applies to both online purchases and purchases made outside physical stores, such as telephone purchases.

When the customer exercises the right of withdrawal and returns the product, the return period starts. This is the period during which the customer can actually return the product to the webshop.

The return period can vary between different stores and is usually stipulated in the store's return policy.
